FIR for demanding money

SHILLONG, DEC 9: Finance (Establishment) department deputy secretary J Wanswet filed an FIR against an account officer Daniel N Sangma working in the office of the Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division, PHE department in Baghmara for allegedly demanding money from contractors to pass their bills.

In her FIR Wanswet mentioned that the complaint was filed based on a report submitted by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID/ACB)  that the officer in question has been demanding cash from the contractors for releasing their pending bills.
