Extortionists thrashed

SHILLONG, APR 16: Two extortionists, who are juvenile, were apprehended and assaulted by villagers of Dangmangre village in South West Garo hills district while they were trying to extort money from the village Nokma, police informed.

Police informed that the incident took place on Tuesday evening when the two were caught by the villagers for extorting money from village Nokma. Both the extortionists are 14 and 16 years of age. Police took custody of the injured accused and admitted them in Civil hospital.- By Our Reporter
