SHILLONG, MAR 8: Madanryting CC beat Sales XI by 4 wickets in the league match of the first division LG Shillong Cricket Tournament organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo.
Electing to bat, Sales XI were all out for 132 runs in 33.3 overs. Debashish Ganguly scored 28 runs off 27 balls and Mithun Rakshit scored 25 runs off 21 balls. For Madanryting, Vishal Chettri picked up three wickets while Raju Singh and Anup Ale took two wickets each.
In reply, Madanryting lost six wickets in achieving the target and scored 136 runs in 29.4 overs. Santosh Rawat remained unbeaten on 44 runs off 53 balls and Raja Rawa scored 24 runs off 27 balls. For Sales XI Swaroop Dey picked up 5/33 runs and Mithun Rakshit took 1/17 runs.
