TURA, APR 30: The nomination papers for Congress candidate Dikkanchi D. Shira and National People’s Party candidate Conrad Sangma was found to be valid for the upcoming May 16 Lok Sabha bye-poll.
The scrutiny of nomination papers began at 11 am. NPP candidate Conrad K. Sangma today spent the day meeting and interacting with people at his residence. Congress candidate Shira also spent the day in similar fashion.
From Monday, both the candidates are planning to hold large rallies in the far flung areas of the five districts of Garo hills.-From Our Correspondent
