TURA, SEPT 25: North Tura club thrashed Greenwood Club Darenggre with 5-2 goals in the opening match of the Tura Football League 2016 Division – B on Saturday at Dikki Bandi stadium.
Laster Marak of Greenwood Club scored the first goal in the 13 minute of the match and posed a challenge for North Tura Club, who got charged up and played hard to equalize the goal in the 24 minute of the match.
John Heving Sangma of North Tura club scored four goals.
Andrewband Sangma of Greenwood Club scored the second goal for the team but gusto of North Tura was never ending as John Heving was seen completely in fire, which was clearly evident in the ground. Immediately after the goal by Andrewband, John Heving scored the final goal for North Tura to win the match.
Jarikrak A. Sangma of North Tura club also scored a goal.
In the second match Lower Durabanda defeated Tura Monfort with 3-2. On Monday, the match will be played between West Wind United vs Chitoktak YC and Garuda Foundation vs Proper Reserve Gittim.-From Our Correspondent
