Shillong Golf Course

Shillong Golf Course, one of the oldest and best natural golf course in the world, is considered to be the “Gleneagle of the East” by the United States Golf Association and Museum. Developed in 1989, as a 9 Holes Course, it was later converted to 18 Holes in 1924 by Capt. Jackson and C.K. Rhodes. It is set in an indulating valley covered with thick groves of pine and rhododendron  trees at an altitude of 5300 ft. It is the third oldest Golf Course in India and was first surveyed in 1933.
