Sohra (Cherapunjee)

Sohra, myriad land of mystique, a dreamland of clouds and fog, earns the distinction of being the wettest place on earth. It is one of those ultimate eco-friendly destinations. Popularly known as Cherrapunjee, a sub-division in the East Khasi Hills District of Meghalaya, it is set upon a plateau on the southern slopes of the state.
