SHILLONG, FEB 12: The National People’s Party (NPP) on Thursday welcomed popular Dima Hasao leader Daniel Langthasa into the party during a large public convention held at Dishru Field, Maibang.
Langthasa was formally inducted into the National People’s Party by NPP National President and Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad K. Sangma, in the presence of senior party leaders and prominent regional leaders.
The induction ceremony was attended by top party functionaries including National Working President James K. Sangma, Vice President Hemochandra Singh, Founder of the Tipra Motha Party Pradyot Manikya Debbarma, and former minister and leader from Nagaland Mmhonlumo Kikon, along with several senior leaders of the National People’s Party from across the Northeast.
