SHILLONG, OCT 1: Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Wednesday invited the agitating ad-hoc school teachers for talks, after their indefinite sit-in demonstration entered its 10th day, marking 240 hours of protest.
Leaders of the Federation of Adhoc School Teachers of Meghalaya (FASTOM) attended the meeting chaired by Sangma at his official bungalow.
However, the outcome of the meeting is not known yet.
FASTOM leaders have stated that they will await the meeting minutes before determining their next course of action, scheduled for announcement on Thursday.
The adhoc teachers are demanding upgradation of all adhoc schools to deficit system or deficit pattern.
