SHILLONG, NOV 28: The Me’gong Festival 2025 is set to dazzle music lovers with an expanded global lineup, featuring British pop icons Blue and Grammy-nominated reggae star Julian Marley, alongside previously announced headliners Richard Marx and Yellow Claw.
The festival will take place in Tura on December 5 and 6, 2025.
The festival boasts an impressive roster of artists, including Bollywood stars Kanika Kapoor and Neeti Mohan, who will join the international acts in showcasing their talents.
Local talent will also be showcased, with performances by Rough Road, Hoi Hoi Makbil, Haystack Ladies, G-Hills Finest, Crack Gang, and Ahaia, highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the Garo Hills.
Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma’s vision for Me’gong Festival is to promote Meghalaya’s cultural economy, create tourism opportunities, and support creative livelihoods.
The festival has already attracted over 3 lakh visitors in its previous edition and is expected to draw larger crowds this year.
