SHILLONG, JULY 9: The 4th MLP battalion cook Rajesh Kumar Singh was arrested for allegedly stealing an Insas magazine along with ammunition. Police informed that the cook of No 14 platoon of the 4th MLP battalion camp in Williamnagar was arrested after Havildar Shyam Thakur filed an FIR stating that the magazine and ammunition allotted to him went missing.
Police immediately conducted an enquiry and the stolen magazine along with ammunition were recovered and seized from the possession of Singh.- By Our Reporter
