Revati Mohite Dere takes charge as Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice

SHILLONG, JAN 10: Justice Revati Mohite Dere on Saturday was formally sworn in as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Court.
The oath of office and secrecy to Justice Dere was administered by the Meghalaya Governor CH Vijayashankar during the swearing-in-ceremony held at Lok Bhavan following the transfer of the incumbent Chief Justice, Justice Soumen Sen, to the Kerala High Court.
Prior to her appointment as the Chief Justice of the Meghalaya High Cour, Justice Dere served as a judge at the Bombay High Court.
