SHILLONG, OCT 6: Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills Vibhor Aggarwal has announced that the process of disbursing the 12 out of 43 months pending salaries to the GHADC employees will be completed before October 15.
Aggarwal was chairing a meeting held between the Sub-Committee, employees of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), and members of the Non-Gazetted Employees Association (NGEA) on Monday.
The meeting discussed the planning and progress for the disbursement of 12 months’ pending salaries to GHADC employees, as approved by the State Cabinet.
During the meeting, the Sub-Committee presented a comprehensive salary disbursement plan, outlining the steps being undertaken to ensure that the disbursement process is completed by October 15.
Council officials informed that preparations are underway for compiling salary statements and necessary documentation to facilitate the release of funds.
Deliberating on the matter, Deputy Commissioner Vibhor Aggarwal stated that the objective of the meeting was to review the council’s readiness and ensure that the disbursement process proceeds smoothly.
He emphasized that the timely release of the 12-month salary remains a top priority and that the process will move forward as soon as all required documents are finalized.
The meeting concluded with an understanding that all stakeholders will coordinate closely to ensure that the salary disbursement is completed within the stipulated time frame, benefiting all GHADC employees.
