BJP assess poll prospect

SHILLONG, OCT 28: BJP national executive member and member of the high level campaigning committee for North East India PB Acharya was in the city to assess the prospect of the party in the forthcoming Lok Sabha Election from Shillong Parliamentary seat.  Acharya camped in in Shillong for four days.He arrived in the city on 20 and stayed till October 24 meeting senior party functionaries, members and sympathizer of the party

Acharya also   discussed   issues and strategies with the party members for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election.He  also visited Jaintia Hills met with the district committee of West Jaintia and East Jaintia hills.  Acharya also met prominent non-congress political party leaders of Meghalaya in Shillong and requested them to join hands with the BJP and NDA for the coming 2014 general election to enable to defeat the Congress and throw it out of power at the center. – By Our Reporter
