SHILLONG, JAN 31: BSF seized arms and ammunition from Barsora near the International boundary after the border guards noticed suspected things hidden beneath stones and camouflaged by the wild grass.  After area was cleared of pile of stones and grass three country made revolvers with 11 rounds was recovered from the spot.

In addition a set of camouflaged dangri, camouflaged belt, camouflaged t-shirt, civil Kala Patk were also recovered from the spot.

BSF said these arms/ammunition belonged to Bangladesh criminals. Rashid Sujan,, Appu Akbar Ali who were working with Markos (ex – ANVC cadre), They have been involved in illegal activities in Rajaju, Khanjoy, Nongkhalam, Ansur, Nangjori, Amar Singh, Kolagaon (coal quarries belt) area in South West Khasi hills and used to hide their arms /ammunition and clothing items in Indian jungle area.

Whenever they need to cross the IB after completion of illegal activities, they use to change their clothing and moved as a labour in Bangladesh to disguise themselves from the BSF.
