Cong workers quit

SHILLONG, JAN 9: Congress workers of Bajengdoba Block in the North Garo Hills district resigned en mass from the primary membership of the party on Wednesday.

“The Bajengdoba BCC (Block Congress Committee) stands dissolved with the mass resignation of the members and supporters,” said Bajendoba BCC secretary Senstar B Marak in a letter to the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president D. D. Lapang.

Marak said the members of the Bajendoba BCC, including the Bajendoba Mahila Unit and the Bajendoba Youth Congress Committee, have resigned with immediate effect. (By Our Reporter)
