DC’s alerts: Satanic worship

SHILLONG, MAY 13: On the backdrop of the an attempt to abduct a child which is suspected to be for “Satanic Worship” East Garo hills deputy commissioner Vijay Kumar Mantri has appealed to the principals and teachers of all the schools to keep a close watch of the children and it over to their parents after the school is over.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Mantri said, “ I appeal to all the parents of the small school going children to  accompany their children on their way to school and not to leave them alone  at home unattended.”  He also appealed to all community leaders, village elders, to watch over the graveyards in their respective localities;

Mantri also appealed to all the church leaders to create large-scale awareness about the issue in religious gatherings;

Mantri also appealed to all the ngos leaders and members to keep a watch and cooperate with the police to fight against the so called  “Satanic Worship.” He also said the public should immediately inform the police about any suspected activity or share information related to Satanic Worship.- By Our Reporter
