The DCs were also asked to work out on the need for re-organization of the 39 existing C&RD blocks.

Tynsong said that the DCs have been asked to work out on the reorganization in order to have treat all districts equally pointing out that Mylliem block alone has a population 4 lakh while others are having only 35,000 population.

Highlighting on the criteria set by the government, Tynsong informed that for creation of new blocks, the area should have not less than 20,000 populations and the block headquarter should be centrally located and connected with good road communication.
