Dead body found inside car

The vehicle was locked from inside when the residents of the area spotted the woman who was lying dead in the driver’s seat.

When contacted, SP (City) Vivek Syiem informed that charcoal was also burnt next to the body besides notes that reflect that someone was emotionally disturbed. According to him, there were no injury marks found on the body and that nothing can be ruled out so far.

“However, police are investigating the case from all angles,” he said while adding that police are also waiting for the post mortem report.
