SHILLONG, JAN 9: Ahead of the assembly elections, the state government on Monday appointed IAS officer SC Sadhu as the new Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District.
Sadhu, who was Director, Community & Rural Development and Secretary in-charge Fisheries department, replaced Isawanda Laloo, according to a notification issued by Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Personnel & AR (A) R Lyngdoh here.
Laloo will now take charge as Director, Community & Rural Development and as Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya Community & Rural Development and Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare Departments.
