SHILLONG, JUNE 24: The Film Screening Committee for the East Khasi hills district has been constituted by the government under the chairmanship of the East Khasi hills deputy commissioner, and assistant director of Meghalaya Information and Public Relations (MIPR) of East Khasi hills as member secretary of the committee.
The Film Screening Committee will screen films and issue certificates accordingly for public viewing. Henceforth, all the film makers of the district have been directed to get their film certified by the Film Screening Committee before releasing the same.
For further information, the film makers and stake holders have been asked to contact the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong or the Member Secretary of the Film Screening Committee.- By Our Reporter
