SHILLONG, APR 4: Donald D. Ingty, Secretary, Diocese Church of North East India, lodged a complaint that Management Committee of the School detected anomalies and discrepancies in the number of students appearing in the audited statement which is substantially lower than that appearing in the attendance register.
On scrutinizing the collection of fees from the students it was found that Rs. 53,93,621/- collected as fees was not deposited in the bank.
On examining five persons namely, Shri F.G. Daimari, Acctt., Shri Supriyo Biswa, Asst. Acctt., Shri Rishot Shanpru, Shri Banteibah Niangti and Shri Dhurbajeet Dey, who are employed by the school, it appears that they have misappropriated the money.
