“We strongly warn against such MVI who unnecessary harassing the public coming to the office of the DTO for vehicle related work,” FKJGP central body information secretary Reginald Thabah said.

This came after mobile recording exposed the alleged involvement of an MVI for asking money from one person who had gone to the DTO office for test driving.

Following this, Thabah informed that a delegation of the FKJGP immediately went to the office of the DTO at Lachumiere to demand clarification on such illegal activity by the staff of the office.

“We have expressed our concern to the DTO HF Khongsit, who had assured us to take necessary steps on the matter,” he said.

He also said that the delegation had also brought to the notice of the DTO on the various complaints about the work culture of the staff, whose coming late to the office and attitude has affected the general public.

The leaders of the federation expressed concern on the manner in which the driving licenses are being issued without conducting any driving test based on influence of the supporters of politicians.

According to them, such practice will only pose serious threat to the public and pedestrian.
