SHILLONG, NOV 10: Former Meghalaya Urban Affairs minister Founder Strong Cajee passed away at the CMC Vellore on Tuesday at 6 am. He represented Mawlai constituency in 2008 and became minister in-charge of Urban Affairs department.
He was also an MDC from the HPU till 2009.
Cajee was born on January 10, 1960 and was the son of late Rev Meshak Kharkongor and N Cajee. He was also the president of the GMPU, and a founder of the Greater Mawlai College besides the first president and founder of the Synjuk Samla Mawlai Pyllun.
Cajee was also the former leader of the Khasi Students Union – Mawlai Circle during 1978 – 79. His funeral will be held on November 13.-By Our Reporter
