SHILLONG,AUG 14: Nine Meghalaya policemen will be receiving medals in two different categories during the Independence Day celebration on Saturday. The two categories of medals will be the President police medal for gallantry and police medal for gallantry.
Meghalaya DSP TC Chacko will be the lone policeman who will be awarded both the President police medal for gallantry and also the police medal for gallantry.
The policemen who will be awarded the police medal for gallantry are: Probinstar Kharbani, Dressing K Shabong, Pyrkhat Minot Nongsiej, Sanjay Kumar Ray, Sushil Mahato, Tushar FN Marak and Havildar Novelson Lyngdoh.- By Our Reporter
