SHILLONG, OCT 26: A senior proscribed Hynniewtrep National Council Liberation (HNLC) member surrendered before the Meghalaya police on Monday. Edmund Nongsiej alias Mot (35) surrendered before the SP (DSB) East Khasi hills in the city, police said. Police said Nongsiej from Mawlai Wahumkhrah, Nongpdeng had joined the outfit way back in 2000. He had surrendered without arms.- By Our Reporter
