Juveniles rape 10 yrs old

MAWKYRWAT, JAN 21: Mawkyrwat police on Saturday detained seven juvenile boys and detained them after they were alleged to have raped a ten years old girl in Mawthung Kper village in South West Khasi hills district. Police detained the seven boys after an FIR was lodged by the father  of the victim that his daughter was raped just before Christmas in his residence  at Mawthung Kper village. All the offenders are below sixteen years.

A case under MWT.PS C/No 3(1)2017 U/S 379(g) IPC R/W Sec.3(a)/4 Posco Act was registered against the offenders.

The boys were sent by the Mawkyrwat police to juvenile home in Shillong. Sub Inspector GK Ch Momin has been entrusted with the investigation of the case.
