SHILLONG, JULY 21: Seng Samla Mary Help of Christians Mawthong Parish organised a leadership training on ‘Ka lyngkha kaba iar ki nongtrei ki duna’. The training was organised at Pyndenumsaw Village near Shngimawlein, South West Khasi hills district.
Before the training programme started Commander Shangpliang, president of the Meghalaya Film Makers Association inaugurated the training programme. Speaking as the chief guest Commander Shangpliang stressed on the need of the youths to focus on education so as to gain knowledge and enable them to be a good leader.
Shangpliang also said that leaders’ listen, seek information and take the right decision in the right direction.
Poverty should not be the obstacle to pursue their career, but they should work hard to become successful, he added. He also said that most of the world great leader were not born in a rich family, but their hard work led them to be great.- By Our Reporter
