SHILLONG, SEP 13: Meghalaya Governor Phagu Chauhan on Wednesday attended the national launch of Ayushman Bhav Campaign, which aims at achieving universal health coverage and ensuring healthcare for all, at the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
The occasion also saw the presence of Dr. M Ampareen Lyngdoh, Health Minister Government of Meghalaya along with the State Health Officials, the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, the Directors of Health Services, the Village Health Council members from across the State, the ASHAs and others.
Launched through a virtual event by the President Droupadi Murmu, the Ayushman Bhav Campaign is a comprehensive nationwide healthcare initiative that aims to provide saturation coverage of healthcare services, reaching every village and town in the country.
