BANGALORE, APR 1: Rangdajied United FC are hoping to learn from the mistakes of the last match when they were held 1-1 by Kolkata’s Southern Samity, and put up an improved performance in their next match of the 2nd Division I-League against  Bhawanipore FC at the Bangalore Football Stadium on Tuesday.

“Our opponent for tomorrow is a strong side, but we will give our best to earn full points. We have overcome our first match where we conceded a silly goal, and will go for a win against Bhawanipore ,” said Rangdajied United FC coach Khlain P. Syiemlieh here on Monday.

In their game against Southern Samity, Rangajied had taken the lead in the 30th minute, but conceded a equalizer in the 50th minute. “We will try not to repeat the same mistakes,” said the coach.

Syiemlieh said he was not reading too much into the poor performance of Bhawanipore skipper Brazilian J. Marco Baretto Ramires in their last match since a player of his caliber could come good any time. “You can never take a chance with players like Baretto. He might not have clicked on Saturday, but he could on Tuesday against us. We will have to keep a close watch on him,” he said.

On the chances of Baba Tunde playing on Tuesday, he said: “Baba is doing well and we will decide whether or not to play in the morning after the physio has a session with him”.  -By Suraj Joshi
