Shillong, January 9: In a surprise turn of event, the ANVC (B) chairman Rimpu Marak  on Thursday  filed an FIR against the West Garo hills district  SP Mukesh Kumar Singh and owner of the black gypsy ML 05G 7209 for allegedly trespassing, threatening, destroying his farm and disrupting the peaceful gathering of young people and attempting to murder the residents of the farm in cold blood using automatic weapons.

The FIR was filed at the Chandmary beat house and Rimpu Marak accused Singh and the his police team of destroying the sheds, plants and taking away the deck, TV, laptop, guitar, keyboard and many sports materials from the farm which was meant for entertainment for the residents of the farm.

Marak also alleged that the police came inside the farm house without his knowledge and fired many rounds in the air to scare the young people. He said the gun fire could have hurt and killed many if they had stayed on in the farm.

The FIR alleged that it was a deliberate attempt to kill “Garo Youths” who are being treated like animals, but they somehow manage to escape but, nonetheless, are hurt and fear stricken.

The ANVC (B) chairman also said that the SP is terrorising using automatic weapons and sending in government forces to hunt youths like in a hunting game.

Marak said, “My PS was sending him information on my behalf but he deliberately made an attempt to kill Garo youths. The FIR said it was deliberate confrontation from the SP sides as he sent intruders and who entered into his farm without permission and destroying and taking away sports materials and burning the sheds, clothes, kitchen and important documents.- By Our Reporter
