Shillong, August 18: The mystery over the death of Pinky Rai, whose naked body was fished out from Sonapani Mawprem on Friday, and the missing of her one and half year old son is continuing with police trying to get some clue that lead to her death and disappearance of her son.
The postmortem of the body of the 22 year old Pinky, who went missing since August 16 afternoon from Denthring , have been completed. Her husband Pappu Rai filed an FIR on that day itself stating that his wife and one and half year son went missing.
After the postmortem was done police handed over the body to her family members.
Police, now, not only have the task of find how Pinky died but also to find the missing child.
According to police sources Pinky’s family is suspecting some foul play and will be filing a counter FIR when they reach Shillong. – By Our Reporter
