SHILLONG, JULY 10: The office of the Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) today came under attack when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb in one of the rooms damaging important documents.

The incident took place at around 7.30 am on Tuesday morning. According to a senior police officer, miscreants lobbed a petrol bomb inside the room of the secretary of the MPSC.

He said that police are still investigating into the matter to nab the culprits and find out the motive behind the attack.

Earlier, East Khasi Hills District police chief Davis NR Marak also rushed to the MPSC office to take stock of the situation.

Sources on the other hand said that two people were seen coming out of the building soon after the petrol bomb attack.
