SHILLONG, FEB 5: Well known criminal ‘Phantom’ has been booked under the Meghalaya Preventive Detention Act 1995 for his involvement in several criminal and molestation cases, police said. Phantom whose original name is David Lyngdoh is presently lodged at the Jowai district jail in West Jaintia hlls district, police informed.
The 24-year-old Lyngdoh alias Ricky Malngiang, Albert and Raja is a resident of Mawiong Rim, Mawlai, Shillong.
“We have booked him under section 3 (1) of the MPDA, 1995,” SP (city) Vivek Syiem informed. He said the accused is involved in a 16 \criminal cases of theft and molestation in Shillong registered in different police stations in the city.- By Our Reporter
