Pick-up truck set ablaze

SHILLONG, SEPT 28: A brand new pickup truck was torched by unknown miscreants in Ri-bhoi district in the wee hour of Saturday. According to the police the pickup truck was parked along with other pickup trucks next to Ri-Bhoi district Congress committee office when at around 3 am some miscreants attempted to set fire to all the vehicles parked near the office but failed as the chowkidar woke up and foiled their attempt.  The miscreants, however, managed to set on fire one new pick truck. Police said investigating has already begun into the matter.- By Our Reporter
