SHILLONG, JAN 13: An upcoming Pnar movie entitled – “Inamorato”, derive from a Latin word which means “Love”, seeks to depict the present day matrilineal society that is plagued by the problem of broken homes.

Informing at a news conference that the movie will be released by end of February, film director Jimiraul Kharmuti said, “It speaks a lot about the problems which our society in the present days is facing.”

Pointing at the increasing number of broken homes, he said that before our forefathers had high regards for marriage which they take it to be so ‘sacred’ but this seems to be missing from people’s lives now.

“We see that children at a tender age are forced to become bread earners for the family besides they are entangle in problems due to early marriages,” he said.

He said that the movie, however, gives ray of hope to the people that love can be a solution to all problems and people can change because of this four letter powerful word.

Meanwhile, the film director also urged the state government to extend its full support in promoting the filmmaking industry in the state.

He said the industry can also become the main source of employment generation for the youths of the state besides showcasing their talents.
