Shillong, Sept 14: Police Friday arrested a salesman of Brenda Pharmacy for selling banned Spasmoproxyvone tablets and recovered 77 strips from the shop.
According to Additional SP (Crime) Vivek Syiem, state police anti narcotics task force laid a trap after they were provided lead by two arrested college students Andy Osmond and Joshwalalura. Police had recovered seven strips of Spasmoproxyvone and a packet of ganja from these students.
During the interrogation they reveled they had acquired the tablets from Brenda Pharmacy.
Syiem further said that police arrested Shalja Das the sales man of the shop for selling the tablets without prescription and investigation is on to established the role of the owner of the pharmacy.- By Our Reporter
