SHILLONG, SEPT 24: As part of the month long Poshan Maah under Poshan Abhiyan flagship programme, Block Development Officer, Mairang C&RD Block, V Swer flagged off the Poshan rally in Mairang today in the presence of CDPO Mairang I Slong. The rally was participated by students from various schools of Mairang Civil Sub – Division, PHE Office Mairang, SDSEO Office Mairang among others commenced from the premises of Khatsawphra College Mairang and culminated at Tirot Sing Memorial Hall, Pyndengumiong, Mairang.
While flagging off the rally the BDO Mairang C&RD Block, V Swer said that through this rally he hoped the message of nutrition and its various components reach the people and encouraged the students and all participants to convey the message of the importance of right nutrition, right food, clean water and healthy practices to each and every household.
