Rangdajied lose by 1-0

footBANGALORE, APR 8: Rangdajied United FC on Monday went down to Mohammedan Sporting Club by a solitary goal in the first leg of final round match of the 2nd division I-League being played at Bangalore Football Stadium.

There was not much of action in the first half in the goal mouth of either clubs.  However changing over the side Ragadajied conceded an early goal when in the 49th minute Jerry
Zirsinga dipping shot from the 34 yards penetrated into the goal giving Sporting full points.

On the other hand Ragadajied failed to create any chances as Babatunde and Shin Hojun were marked well by the rival defence line.
In the 73rd minutes substitute Hiralal Chettri had come close to scoring an equalizer but was well cleared by Arnab Sharma.

Rangdajied goalkeeper Surjay Pariyar had a good time under the bar as he saved as many as four potential goals.
With this win Mohammedan is at the top of the table with ten points.
Earlier in the first match, J. Marco Barreto’s hat-trick guided Bhawanipore FC to a 3-2, victory over Mumbai Tigers. For the Kolkata side both the goals came from NP Pardeep.
