SHILLONG, OCT 7: Meghalaya chief minister Mukul M Sangma visited the flood victims of Karkutta C&RD block in North Garo hills district on Tuesday.
He was accompanied by parliamentary secretary in-charge of PWD (R)) Cherak W Momin, North Garo hills deputy commissioner W Khyllep, SP JFK Marak, additional DC, BDOs and other district officials.
Sangma assured the victims that the state government would provide full support and the public properties that have been damaged would soon be restored to facilitate the normal life in the area. Sangma also distributed clothes to the victims of flash-floods.- By Our Reporter
