Shilllong, Sept 3: The Shillong Chamber Choir (SCC) will sing along with Bollywood superstar and the host of Kuan Banega Crorepati Amitabh Bachchan at the opening of the sixth season of this reality show on September 7.
Damon Lyndem, an associated official of the choir, informed that the SCC will be singing in the opening episode of KBC season 6 on September 7 at 8:30pm, in the Sony TV. He said in the opening ceremony Amitabh Bachchan will be singing with choir on a medley of songs, which have been arranged by the choir founder and conductor Neil Nongkynrih.
According to Lyngdem during the preliminary practice sessions with the choir group, Bachchan was “delighted” and impressed at the performance of the team.
Bachchan also blogged saying, “By far, the most delightful moment of the day was meeting and seeing the Shillong Choir, a young group of boys and girls from the North East, performing some wonderful renditions of … ahah … cannot disclose all that just yet, songs.” – By Our Reporter
