Shillong, August 20: Meghalaya Community &Rural Development minister Saleng Sangma inaugurated the IL & FS placement linked skill development training programme at Williamnagar DRDA Hall Monday.
Lauding the IL&FS, Sangma said with the launch of the
skill development training centre it signals an initiative by the
government that will hopefully answer the job seekers needs.
Dedicating the launch of the placement linked skills development training programme to the people of the State, particularly the youth, Sangma urged them to take advantage of the oriented training programme. He said, “Being an educated person does not mean that you
are likely to get certain jobs but you must have that ability and
skill to get the job.”
Sangma also urged the women to make use of financial inclusion that is provided in every block and to engaged themselves in vocational training and institutions.- By Our Reporter
