Witnessed by high government officials, Congress bigwigs, political leaders and Congress party workers, the swearing in ceremony of the eleven ministers mark the end of the process of government formation by the Congress led Meghalaya United Alliance (MUA) II coalition government led by Mukul Sangma.

Of the eleven ministers who were sworn in five of them are from the Sangma’s earlier cabinet. The five ministers who were retained are HDR Lyngdoh, Prestone Tynsong, Ampareen Lyngdoh, AL Hek besides Rowell Lyngdoh and RC Laloo.

Chief Minister Mukul Sangma’s youngest brother Zenith Sangma was also accommodated in the ministry.
