Shillong, Oct 3: Football crazy Shillong will be treated to the first match of the I-League when its favourite team Shillong Lajong FC takes on football giant of the country Mohan Bagan Saturday at the JN stadium.
Briefing the media at the Shillong Press Club convener of the local organizing committee B. Diengdoh said, “Preparation is all set to host the match between Lajong and Mohun Bagan scheduled for Saturday”.
For the convenience of the spectators we have started cleaning of the surrounding of JN Sports Complex and galleries he said adding, “Tickets will be sold from Thursday
from all the counters of SSA at first ground”.
The organizers have fixed the rate of tickets for the up-coming season as follows: open gallery Rs. 100, covered gallery Rs. 200, covered gallery with chairs 250 and VIP gallery Rs. 300.
Diengdoh further said Rs. 300 tickets are limited while there are 1000 tickets for the covered chaired gallery”.
On the infrastructure Lyngdoh he opined, “As far as ground is concern it is one of the best ground in the country, while the AIFF had approved the infrastructure of the stadium last season”.
When enquired about the dressing room he said “Team A dressing room is perfect but we have some complains about the stinking toilet at Team B dressing room, we are trying to fix it”.- By Our Reporter
