USTM gets new VC

SHILLONG, FEB 11: Dr Mridul Hazarika, former Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University has joined as the new Vice Chancellor of the University of Science & Technology Meghalaya. Dr PK Goswami, the outgoing Vice Chancellor of USTM has been elevated to the post of Principal Advisor of USTM. Joining as the VC, Dr Hazarika said, “Teaching and Learning is a never ending process. The challenge here is to mould individuals by developing needed skills and values thus confronting the challenges of building institution, society and the nation”. He said that challenges must be confronted with determination and innovative thinking and expressed hope to work in a vibrant team to build a world class institution at USTM.
