NONGSTOIN, MAY 29:A tea stall owner Khristina Diengngan of Porkhadoh village in West Khasi Hills was seriously injured when one Hoding Diengngan of the same village shot her with a gun The incident took place on May 26at Pyndengshahlang village, Maweit area in West Khasi Hills.
Source informed that the injured woman was in her shop when Hoding came with his gun and opened fire at her. Fortunately the woman the bullet just grazed sideway from her head and stomach.
Family of the victim has lodged an FIR to Nongstoin police station on and the woman has been shifted to civil hospital in Nongstoin for treatment.- By Our Reporter
