11 injured in road accidents

SHILLONG, DEC 26: As many as 11 persons were injured in separate road mishaps on December 25.

Eddison Warbah (17) sustained injuries as the bike he was riding skidded at Mawlai Syllaikariah around 1:13 am. Victim was in inebriated state, First Aid and Wound Care done and was shifted to Civil Hospital by 108 Shillong Civil Base Ambulance,

Anushree Paul (30) sustained injuries as the Person who drove the vehicle(EON) she was travelling in,  felt dizzy and hit the Safety Railing at Byrnihat around 6:47:31 am, First aid and wound care done and the victim was shifted to GNRC by 108 Byrnihat based Ambulance.

An inexperienced learner driver driving a maruti car went and hit a group of people who were on a Christmas carol on the road side at Raja Apal. Menalis Momin(40), Chima Marak(12), Tulika Sangma(12) and Tamat Sangma(6) suffered minor injuries. Pre hospital care was given by the
ambulance team at scene. Immediately shifted to Bajengdoba Phc by 108 Rari based ambulance.

Silias Rymbai(28) and Dilip Langdon(27) sustained minor injuries in which the Maruti car they were travelling in went and hit a Truck and an Alto car due to driving in inebriated state and losing control. First aid was provided and both were shifted by the 108 Khliehriat Ambulance to Khliehriat CHC.

Tapos Saha (30) sustained injuries when the scooty he was driving hit an electric pole. Victim was in inebriated state, first aid and wound care done and was shifted to Tura Civil Hospital by the 108 Tura Civil based ambulance.

Jiedlang Khongsit (35) & Rapai Gunin (45) sustained injuries as the Auto (Pick up) overturned in a turning Point due to loss of control. The Victims were in inebriated state, first aid and wound care done and the victims were shifted to NEIGRHIMS by 108 Lawmali based Ambulance.
