Almost all the cheques issued by Chullet as chairman of SHG were bounced, Rymbai alleged.

Moreover, the documents seized from the office of the organization proved that it has been taking money for giving fake job appointments in the different posts like that of Branch Manager where  a candidate has to pay up to Rs 9.50 lakh, assistant Branch Manager – Rs 7.50 lakh, adviser – Rs 6 lakh, chief adviser – Rs 5 lakh, receive accountant – Rs 5 lakh, LDA – Rs 4 lakh, peon – Rs 2.50 lakh, security guards, cleaner and sweeper – Rs 1 lakh each.

Nebel Wan said she had paid Chullet up to Rs 9.90 lakh to get jobs for her son and grandchild.  “I had sold off my paddy field with the hope that my son and a grandchild will get government jobs,” Wan complained..

Another victim, Bibar Dkhar from Ri Bhoi district said he had given Rs 2 lakhs for LDA posts while Damehi Siangshai from Pasyih had paid Rs 3.15 lakh saying that Chullet had promised to give him contract works to implement the different central schemes.
