Shillong, Oct 5: BSNL NE-I circle is organizing the 12th All India BSNL Tournament 2012 from 9th to 11th October at Shillong. This is the first time that all India  BSNL football tournament is being held in Shillong.
All together 11 teams from different parts of the country is participating for the honour.
Teams from Punjab , J&K, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, NE-II Circle (Manipur/ Arunachal Pradesh/ Nagaland combined),MTNL Delhi , MTNL Mumbai, West Bengal & host team NE-I Circle (Meghalaya, Tripura & Mizoram combined) will vying with each other for the trophy.
Teams will start arriving from 7th October and fixture will be made known only on 8th during the managers meeting on October 8.
The defending champion West Bengal will be arriving on October  8 and runner up Maharashtra just a day ahead..
The games will be played at 2nd and 3rd grounds of the JN complex during the three days from morning 9 AM to 3 PM. Shillong Football Association and Meghalaya Football Association  have provided all the basic requirement like the playing ground and ten match officials.
The opening ceremony will take place on October 9 morning and the closing ceremony on October 11 at JN sports complex.
Urban Affairs minister Ampareen Lyngdoh will be the chief guest on the opening day and deputy chief minister Bindo .M.Lanong on the closing day.- By Our Reporter
