Alumuri container set on fire

SHILLONG, OCT 23: Two miscreants poured kerosene and set fire to the glass container of an alu-muri vendor Raj Kumar Rai at Mawkhar on Wednesday afternoon. The alu-muri vendor however escaped unhurt. Police said the incident took place at around 1.30 pm when two young boys walked to where the vendor was selling alu-muri poured kerosene and set the glass-case food container on fire. The container was damaged. Police immediately swung into action and beefed up security in the area and is making effort to arrest the two boys. – By Our Reporter
